Changes at "Criteria for Meaningful Engagement"
Body (English)

Our core working group agreed on four criteria for what a meaningful, genuinely unified engagement process looks like. We're publishing them here as a starting point, and as a standard we intend to hold ourselves to.
1. INCLUSIVITY & EQUITY: Actively involve diverse participants, particularly those often overlooked. Address obstacles to participation. Offer accessible and diverse ways to engage.
2. TRANSPARENCY & TRUST: Maintain clear, honest communication and continually show how people's ideas are heard and incorporated.
3. SHARED POWER & DECISION-MAKING: Move beyond informing the community to engaging in designing things together.
4. SUSTAINABILITY & COMMITMENT: Build long-term, sustained relationships rather than consulting people one time.
