What we heard

• I love that my school brings together a diverse group of Oakland kids + families and the focus is making sure the kids with greatest need have those needs met
• My kids learn from and with kids whose experiences are different than theirs; the 50/50 dual immersion really works for my kids (but I am not fully convinced it serves all kids)
• The best thing about my school has been the diversity & representation of the Oakland community
• I appreciate that my school has a diverse teaching staff
• Strong social justice focus
• I'm happy that my school has inclusion in activities
