How is “Basic Staffing” funded?
This chart shows how much of the estimated basic-staffing cost is paid by LCFF “base” funding (this is the baseline funding every school earns from attendance) and how much is paid for by everything else (you can toggle between them). “Everything else” includes LCFF Supplemental and Concentration grants for high-need students, Special Education, Oakland’s parcel taxes, Central Title I, TK funding and a few smaller sources, most of which come with rules about how they can be used.
