Individualized Outreach to Focal Schools

Our District Reach Tracker shows that after five engagements we've reached 43 of OUSD's 77 schools. Some schools told us during our June 1 outreach that they wanted to take part but couldn't attend, and some board districts are still thinly represented. So for schools/board districts where the gap is clearest, we'll make a direct, individualized engagement offer to each one.

We'll prioritize:

• District 1: Sankofa United, Emerson

• District 2: Bella Vista, Garfield, La Escuelita

• District 5: Fruitvale

• District 7: REACH Academy, Fred T. Korematsu Discovery Academy, Grass Valley, Madison Park Academy Primary, Brookfield

These are schools that either expressed interest on June 1 without attending, or that our reach data shows we're missing. Several were chosen because reaching them also improves the demographic representation of who we hear from.

We'll make these offers before the start of the 2026–27 school year and confirm participation from interested schools by the end of the first week of school.
